Substrate Conversion


Midwest now offers a wide range of converting services to fit your business. We offer rigid and non-rigid material converting and custom letter coil and sign blanks for every project, big and small. You can purchase products that are custom-sized, accurately finished and ready for decoration—without having the equipment to cut them yourself.

 

 

Rigid Material Converting


Our new Schelling fk6 saw comes with outstanding capabilities at every step of the process:

 

  • Cuts sheets up to 130" X 130" down to pieces 1.5" X 1.5"
  • Can be used on a variety of substrates, including foam boards, acrylics, styrene and expanded PVC
  • Provides clean, high-quality sheets with 99.5% dust removal
  • Reduces edge chipping
  • Allows short lead time
 
 

Non-Rigid Material Sheeting/Slitting

 

Midwest can quickly and accurately cut any non-rigid rolled media—everything from banner material to laminate and vinyl—into a specific sheet size. We also have the ability to slit media rolls in two to make them a more manageable size.

 

  • Get custom sheets cut down as small as 5" x 10"  
  • Cut any non-rigid rolled media, including banner, laminate, vinyl, etc.
  • Save time and energy by not cutting material by hand
